Orca seems to be a dead end. I looked for words that could be made with the remaining letters, but the only animals I found were PIKA and PEBA. I have never even heard of a peba, but apparently it's a long-nosed armadillo, and the game didn't recognize it anyway.
With these letters you could get a pair of snakes, BOA and KRAIT, but KRAIT wasn't accepted either.
KOI and CARP is another funny pair because a koi is a carp.
I've only found one trio of animals so far, and I'm ready to give up on finding the rest.
I thought the last one would be just one word with all the letters in it, so I wasted so many hours trying to search if pko-bacteria is a real thing or not lol
I mean it made too much sense to think that the game will end with a bacteria recycling the ecosystem... Seems like my brain was a bacteria after all...
Anyway, brilliant game! It was quite challenging to find the names with 'k'.

cute little game! some other words that (imo) should've been recognized (rot13): BXNCV, PBNGV, XVG, PBO, XRN

I thought, following your comment, about adding bacteria to the recognised word list, but I figure it's probably better to not give false hope 🙃
You spell out the names of animals. I was able to find "RAT" and "BOA", but nothing else...
There are definitely more. Not, apparently, including PIKA. Shame, they're pretty cute.
Not sure if there's a next step after that though.
